The 15th Headies Award was organised to honor the best in the Nigerian music industry. For the first time ever, the ceremony was conducted outside of Nigeria at the Cobb’s Energy Performing Art Centre in Atlanta.
The Headies ceremony saw Grammy-winning singers Wizkid and Tems emerge as the top winners, while BNXN fka Buju took home the prize for the next-rated category: a brand-new Bentley.
We had high expectations for the awards ceremony, but they fell short in a number of ways, so all that was left to look forward to was the announcement of the category winners.
