Emerging from the vibrant southern state of Rivers, Kemuel is quickly becoming a notable figure in the Afropop, R&B, and pop music scenes. His musical journey began at the young age of 13 when he joined his local church choir. There, he discovered his natural talent and honed his skills on instruments such as the piano, bass guitar, and drums.

This early immersion in music fueled his passion for creativity, leading him to pursue a degree in Fine Art and Design from the University of Port Harcourt. With each release, Kemuel is capturing listeners.

Kemuel’s latest single, “Focus,” released as part of his sophomore EP Clouds, is a declaration of self-determination and growth. With relatable lyrics and soulful Afro-fusion production, the song delivers a feel-good experience that resonates with listeners.

At its core, “Focus” is a personal declaration by Kemuel—a reminder to stay on course despite life’s distractions and the music industry’s challenges.

Speaking on the track, Kemuel explains, “As the name implies, ‘Focus’ reminds me to stay focused because I understand how distracting it can be, and how easy it is to lose your way in this industry. I know it’s difficult, and I never expected it to be. I work hard for everything I have, but God’s grace makes the journey easier for me.”

The song speaks to anyone with a dream, reminding them that success comes with perseverance and effort. “The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step,” Kemuel notes, adding that the song also reflects the current state of life in Nigeria. Through “Focus,” he hopes to inspire listeners to remain committed to their goals, just as the track has inspired him in his journey.

With a message that is both personal and universal, Kemuel’s “Focus” is now available on all streaming platforms, ready to resonate with dreamers and believers across the globe.
