Showing no signs of stopping or slowing down, breakout Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Pheelz serves up a stunning and cinematic music video for his buzzing anthem “JELO” featuring Young Jonn.

Directed by Tay as “A Family Picture,” the intimate clip threads together candid vignettes in Nigeria. Pheelz pulls up to a barbershop to greet friends as he croons to the camera. In between scenes from a photo shoot, he and Young Jonn join a choir in perfect harmony as heavenly choreography captivates. The video offers a glimpse of his life in Africa and projects the uplifting energy of the track on-screen and on stage.

Originating as producers, they contributed to a plethora of hit singles for various Afrobeats superstars. Pheelz has produced chart-toppers for Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Fireboy DML, and Davido among others. Similarly, Young Jonn has churned out bangers for Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Naira Marley, and many more. Their influence played a significant role in the growth and evolution of Olamide’s YBNL and its artists within the industry.

“JELO” followed the fan favorite “YOLO” which reeled in over 3.9 million streams and 1.8 million YouTube views on the music video. It arrived on the heels of Pheelz’s acclaimed 2023 EP, Pheelz Good. The undeniable project has amassed more than 232 million global streams. It’s a brilliant 8-song set that boasts features from Davido (“Electricity”) and BNXN (“Finesse”) and deftly blends Afrobeats bangers with songs rooted in melodic R&B and Pop — all of which showcase the rising star’s dazzling versatility and blinding future.

Pheelz was named “Artist To Watch” in 2023 by Pandora and Amazon Music. After “Finesse” established him as an international star on the rise, he built on the buzz with a dazzling set at Essence Fest’s Afrobeats After Dark party in New Orleans and made his US television debut with a performance on NBC’s Late Show with Seth Meyers.
